I’m Jarrett Lindsey, but in the classroom and community, I go by Linzo.
I’ve served as a classroom teacher, a mentor, a center director at Sylvan Learning, and a college/career coach for students trying to escape the trap of being just another statistic.
🔹 A Legacy That Lit the Path
I was raised by a single Black woman who stood taller than most armies.
My mother, Dr. Jacqueline Lindsey, wasn’t just a pioneer in education—she was a force.
In the heart of North Forest ISD, she didn’t just teach math. She built minds.
She didn’t just coach cheerleaders. She lifted young women toward their strength, their voices, and their purpose.
She was the first teacher I ever had—and the best I’ll ever know.
And because of her, I learned this early:
An educator doesn’t just change lives. They ignite them.
🔹 From the North Forest Halls to the Front of the Class
I grew up walking the very hallways my mother taught in.
I saw the weight teachers carried. I felt the struggles students brought with them.
And I learned what it meant to be a diamond in the rough—a child of potential, born into pressure, still destined to shine.
From those early days, I knew I wasn’t just meant to pass through school—I was meant to build it.
To help other students like me. Kids who were gifted, but overlooked. Resilient, but tired.
Bright, but buried.
I saw what education could be. Now I make sure others can see it too.
🔹 Who I Am Today
I specialize in:
- Teaching with clarity, confidence, and cultural truth
- Guiding students into college, adulthood, and purpose
- Helping educators connect—not just instruct
- Holding space for healing, discipline, and masculine leadership
I’ve taught kids who had nothing to eat and still showed up hungry for more.
I’ve mentored young men through grief, confusion, and identity.
And I’ve led teams of educators who were burned out—but not broken.
Through it all, one truth keeps showing up:
We don’t need perfect schools. We need real leaders.
🔹 The Linzo Method Is Bigger Than Me
It’s not just a program or a brand. It’s a calling.
A blueprint built from pain, purpose, and the belief that growth is always possible—if we’re willing to do the work.
I believe in:
- Purpose – You’re here for more than survival
- Process – Structure sets you free
- People – We rise together
- Power – You don’t need permission to be great
I’ve lived this. I’ve taught this. And now, I help others build it for themselves.
🔹 To the Ones Who Paved the Way
To Dr. Lindsey, my mother—thank you for the vision and the fire.
To the educators in forgotten districts doing sacred work—I see you.
To the students who show up with nothing and give everything—you’re the reason I do this.
This is for us.
This is for those who weren’t supposed to make it—but did.
And now, we reach back. We rebuild. We rise.
