I am Jarrett Lindsey and I acquired my Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science/Mathematics from Huston-Tillotson University located in Austin, Texas. As a college student, I worked as a Peer Learning Consultant, where I received training in AVID. This college readiness training was instrumental in helping me to obtain my position as an AVID Tutor at Willowridge High School, where I worked for 2 years, 2013-2015. Currently, I am teaching at George Bush HS in FBISD, in the areas of Fundamentals of Computer Science , Computer Science Pre-AP, Computer Science AP , Game Programming & Design and Independent Study Computer Science. I look forward to inspiring and motivating all my students to the open doors of career opportunities that are available to them. Before becoming a high school teacher, I did have the opportunity to work as an intern with Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, one year with the Techno Chaos Company as the customer experience manager and one summer with the Boys and Girls Club as the Computer Mentor to underprivileged youth in the area.
